MCP Company Limited stands as a cornerstone of Malta’s infrastructure network, operating one of the island’s largest and most strategically located multi-storey car parks in Floriana, at the gateway to Valletta.
A Legacy of Stability and Expansion
The current shareholders first acquired the Floriana car park concession through J&K Limited, establishing the foundation for MCP’s operations.
MCP was fully acquired by the existing shareholders, consolidating ownership and enabling long-term strategic planning.
The company’s concession was extended up to the year 2106, ensuring over 80 more years of operational certainty. As part of this extension, MCP committed to transforming the car park’s central area with a roof garden and improved visitor amenities.
Completion of the major extension and garden project, expanding capacity to over 1,500 vehicles and positioning MCP among Malta’s largest parking facilities. The company also became Malta’s exclusive distributor of Amano parking systems, integrating modern access, ticketing, and control technologies.
Opening of a Costa Coffee outlet within the complex — the first retail lease within the project — marking MCP’s diversification into commercial real estate leasing alongside its core parking operations.
